A PLC is a specialized computer used to control machines and processes. It is designed to survive in a rugged industrial atmosphere and to be very flexible in how it interfaces with inputs and outputs to the world. PLCs come in many sizes and shapes. CPU module is the brain of the PLC. PLCs are designed for multiple arrangements of digital and analog inputs and outputs with extended temperature ranges, immunity to electrical noise, and resistance to vibration and impact. Plc used for production line, machine function etc.The CPU consists of memory chip, a microprocessor and other integrated circuits to control logic, monitoring and communications. The CPU has different operating modes. The CPU is then placed in run mode so that it can execute the program and operate the process. There are four basic steps in the operation of PLCs: Input Scan, Program Scan, Output Scan, and Housekeeping. These steps continually take place in a repeating loop. PLCs have a wide range of I/O modules and output modules. Input modules can accommodate all kind of sensors.Discrete input modules can be used to detect object presence or events with devices such as photoelectric sensors or proximity, limit switches and push buttons. Discrete output modules can control motors, lights, and solenoid valves etc.Analog input modules can accept signals from process instrumentation. IPCS Automation offers PLC training program for long year. lakhs of students from various countries successfully complete our course and placed on reputed companies .
